Renowned broadcaster and tourism expert, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).
His new role is expected to strengthen Ghana’s tourism sector and attract more local and international visitors.
Abeiku Santana has been a key figure in promoting Ghana’s tourism industry, with over two decades of experience in broadcasting, public relations, marketing, hospitality, and tourism management.
He is the CEO and founder of Kaya Tours Ghana Limited, a company dedicated to showcasing Ghana as a top travel destination.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Tourism Management from the University of Cape Coast and a Master’s Degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana Business School.
His background in marketing and tourism is expected to bring innovative strategies to the Ghana Tourism Authority, enhancing its efforts in promoting the country’s cultural heritage, historical sites, and hospitality industry.
Abeiku Santana’s appointment has been welcomed by tourism stakeholders and industry players, who believe his passion and expertise will help position Ghana as a leading destination in Africa.
As Deputy CEO of GTA, he will play a key role in developing policies, strengthening tourism initiatives, and attracting investment into the sector.
